Our Journey

Scatena Construction's story is one of service, growth, and an unwavering dedication to quality.

Our journey began in 1990 when founder Fred Scatena Jr. served as a Black Hawk Helicopter Crewchief in the U.S. Army, stationed with the 10th Mountain Division. During his time in the military, he proudly served in Desert Storm and later supported missions in Central America. The discipline, teamwork, and leadership gained during those years laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong commitment to excellence.

In late 1993, Fred returned home and founded Central Coast Concrete Pumping, marking the first step into the construction industry. By 1998, we expanded into full-scale concrete contracting, and in 2000, Scatena Construction was officially incorporated and licensed as a General Contractor.
